Rogers rushed for a career-high 152 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries in Campbell’s 45-31 road win at Monmouth. Nate Lynn, Sr., DE, William & Mary (Charlotte, N.C./Zebulon B. Vance)

Lynn recorded a team-high seven tackles, 2.0 TFL’s, a sack and a forced fumble in William & Mary’s 15-7 win at Charleston Southern. The senior’s strip sack led to a safety that gave the Tribe an 8-7 lead and was part of a dominant defensive effort in which W&M held CSU to 77 total yards and no offensive points. It was the first time since 1996 that W&M has held a foe under 100 yards.

CAA Football Co-Special Teams Player of the Week

Ty Groff, Fr., PK, Rhode Island (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan)

Groff made the first two field goals of his career and was 4-for-4 on extra points in Rhode Island’s 34-17 victory at Maine. The freshman nailed a 47-yarder in the first quarter, which was the longest by a Rams’ kicker in 10 years, and added a 42-yarder in the third period that put URI up by 10.

CAA Football Co-Special Teams Player of the Week

Kyle Romenick, Jr., P, Elon (Fort Mill, S.C./Fort Mill)

Romenick averaged 42.2 yards on five punts and threw the first touchdown pass by an Elon punter in its Division I era as the Phoenix defeated North Carolina A&T, 27-3. The junior hit DJ Hamilton with a 35-yard TD pass on a fake punt to help seal the victory early in the fourth quarter. He booted a 57-yard punt and dropped another inside the 20-yard line.

CAA Football Rookie of the Week

KT Seay, Fr., DB, Delaware (Norfolk, Va./Maury)

Seay recorded a team-high seven tackles, intercepted a pass and had a quarterback hurry in Delaware’s 42-14 triumph over Saint Francis. The freshman defensive back picked off a pass in the end zone to stop a drive in the second quarter with the Hens holding a seven-point lead. Seay was part of a defense that held SFU to 320 yards and forced three turnovers.
