How To Watch UAlbany Football Vs. New Hampshire
Here’s what to know as the UAlbany Great Danes take on the New Hampshire Wildcats at Wildcat Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. ET.
It’s still early in the 2023 collegiate football season, but this Week 7 meeting between UAlbany and New Hampshire sees the teams on opposite trajectories from each other and from their own 2022 versions.
New Hampshire shared the Coastal Athletic Association title with William & Mary a year ago, while UAlbany limped through the season near the bottom of the CAA standings.
This year, UAlbany (4-2, 2-0) is making a play for the CAA crown and enters this week as one of three teams still undefeated in conference play. Elon is leading the way at 3-0, and Delaware and UAlbany sit close behind at 2-0.
New Hampshire (2-3, 0-2) is winless in conference action, with those two losses coming in its last two games.

UAlbany is riding a three-game winning streak that includes conference wins over Villanova (31-10) and Towson (24-17) over the last two weeks. The Great Danes will close the season with eight straight CAA games, and this week’s meeting with New Hampshire is the third of those matchups.
The Great Danes are ranked No. 24 in the most recent Stats Perform FCS Top 25 and received votes in the American Football Coaches Association FCS Poll. New Hampshire received votes in the latter and held onto the No. 24 spot in the AFCA poll, despite this season’s misfortune.
The Wildcats were off last week, a break that likely was welcomed after conference losses to Delaware (29-25) and Towson (54-51) on Sept. 23 and Sept. 30, respectively.
In the loss to Towson, New Hampshire used a 20-yard field goal on the first possession of overtime to take the lead, but the Tigers answered with a touchdown to take the win.
New Hampshire, which will be celebrating homecoming this weekend, also will be closing the 2023 season with all eight of its conference games.
UAlbany and New Hampshire have a short history that began in 2008. New Hampshire won the first four meetings and leads the series, 6-5. They have played every year since 2013.
UAlbany won three consecutive times (2019, 2020, 2021), before the Wildcats got back to their winning ways in 2022 with a 28-23 win in Albany. New Hampshire scored once in each quarter and managed to hold off the Great Danes, who scored 13 points in the final quarter.
