2024 NFL Undrafted Free Agency Round-Up: Meet CAA, GLIAC, GSC & SAC Signees
NFL teams add some promising young talent from the teams of the Coastal Athletic Association, GLIAC, Gulf South, and South Atlantic Conference.
NFL draft season doesn't end when the final pick of the seventh round is announced. Plenty of standout talent remains available for organizations to sign in the ensuing days through undrafted free agency.
Undrafted free agency throughout NFL history have shaped the landscape of the league, producing Hall of Famers like Antonio Gates and Super Bowl heroes. The Coastal Athletic Association and Gulf South Conference each boast alumni who fit in the latter category, with former UMass star wide receiver Victor Cruz hauling in a touchdown at Super Bowl XLVI for the New York Giants.

DE Nate Lynn, William & Mary (Detroit Lions)
It's a Tribe reunion in Detroit, with William & Mary standouts added to the Lions' lines each of the past two draft seasons. In 2023, Detroit drafted Colby Sorsdal and Sorsdal became an integral part of the Lions front five.
This year, Detroit welcomes Nate Lynn to the defensive line. Lynn was among the most dominant pass-rushers in FCS throughout his William & Mary career.

Now, he'll aim to make an impression on the NFL. Shirden is an elite ball carrier who combines breakaway speed with uncanny field vision, able to find and explode through holes in the vein of classic every-down backs.

GLIAC Undrafted Free Agents In The NFL
QB Cade Peterson, Grand Valley State (Detroit Lions)*
The versatile, dual-threat playmaker stays in-state after winning back-to-back GLIAC Offensive Player of the Year awards for Grand Valley State.
Cade Peterson passed for more than 5,000 yards and racked up 47 touchdowns through the air in his time at GVSU. Peterson's outstanding ball-carrying suggests the two-way offensive threat could also fill other needs for the Lions as the situation demands.
CB Shon Stephens, Ferris State (Philadelphia Eagles/Pittsburgh Steelers)*
WR Xavier Wade, Ferris State (Pittsburgh Steelers)*
LB Julius Wilkerson, Davenport (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)*
GULF SOUTH Undrafted Free Agents In The NFL

SAC Undrafted Free Agents In The NFL
WR Jelani Baker, Limestone (Baltimore Ravens)
Limestone's Greatest Show on Turf-inspired offense relied on outstanding play from the wide receivers, evidenced in the Saints sending two players into promising NFL opportunities.
Chief among the Limestone is Jelani Baker, bound for Baltimore after a monster 2023 for the Saints. Baker caught 75 passes for a shade less than 1,100 yards and totaled 14 touchdowns. He had three multiple-score outings in the final four games of 2023, including Limestone's second-ever NCAA Playoffs appearance against Valdosta State.
WR Drew Dixon, Limestone (Green Bay Packers)*
WR Kam Johnson, Barton (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)*
