The Tusculum Pioneers are set to host the No. 21-ranked Carson-Newman Eagles this Saturday, November 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Pioneer Field. The Pioneers have deemed the game a black out and will also be hosting homecoming on their final day of the season, making it a three-for-one with Senior Day added on.

After only one loss this season to Emory & Henry, the Eagles are close to finishing out one of their best seasons since 2019, when they went 8-3. The Eagles currently boast an overall record of 8-1 and a conference record of 6-1, giving them the leading spot in the Mountain division of the South Atlantic Conference.

Tusculum's 2024 season hasn't been so rosy, however. On the bright side, in their lone win over Anderson on October 26, Corey Moraux set a school record 90-yard touchdown reception for the game-winning touchdown that gave the Pioneers the 30-28 lead at Pioneer Field. 

Quarterback Matthew Palazzo will be looking to complete more passes like that this weekend against the Eagles.
