Hampton Football Schedule 2024: Times, Dates
Hampton Pirates football will lean on their star running back Eljiah Burris for the 2024 season. Burris averaged 114 yards per game in 2023.
Hampton football went 5-6 for the 2023 season, their second as a football participant in the Coastal Athletic Association. It's an improvement on their first season, by a single win, but there are other reasons to be optimistic for the Pirates in 2024.

Namely, Elijah Burris. Hampton's lead back had a breakout season in 2023, accumulating 800-plus rushing yards and six touchdowns. Burris had a whopping 8.3 yards per attempt, and averaged 114 yards a game.
Burris was recently named to the CAA Preseason All-Conference Team, and should be the workhorse for a Hampton team looking to improve upon their first two seasons in the CAA.
