Richmond Spiders Football Schedule: Times, Dates
Richmond was voted to finish second in the CAA for the 2024 season. Returning their starting QB and wide receiver will go a long way to making that reality.
For the second consecutive season, Richmond football ended with a 9-4 record in 2023. Among the CAA elite, Richmond made it to the second round of the FCS playoffs, having defeated NC Central 49-27 in the opening round. In their second game, they met fellow CAA member UAlbany, who dispatched the Spiders on their way to the FCS semifinals.

According to the head coaches of the CAA, Richmond shouldn't expect to regress this season. In fact, they were voted to finish second in 2024, one place behind Villanova. The Spiders also received one first-place vote.
Offensively, Richmond should remain in sync as they return starting quarterback Kyle Wickersham and their best receiver Nick DeGennaro.
DeGennaro finished the season with the fifth-most receiving yards in the CAA, with 904, and tied for second in receiving touchdowns, with an incredible 11 TDs hauled in.
