For two seasons, Monmouth has fielded one of the most elite offenses in the entirety of the FCS. Last season, they ranked 13th overall in scoring offense and 19th overall in rushing offense in the FCS.

Monmouth loses the second-leading rusher in the FCS in Jaden Shirden, but they return Sone Ntoh, who had a breakout season as Shirden's back up in 2023. Ntoh had a staggering 14 touchdowns a season ago on only 56 attempts.

They also retain their only coach in program history, Kevin Callahan, who has shown his brilliant offensive prowess over 32 years of service to the Hawks.

Monmouth's leading receiver, Dymere Miller, who accumulated 1,400 yards last season, also returns. But perhaps most importantly, Monmouth poached quarterback Derek Robertson from in-conference foe Maine. Robertson had nearly 3,000 passing yards last season and 25 touchdowns.
