The Lakers will play the Bulldogs on Oct. 26 at Lubbers Stadium at 3 p.m. It’ll be the second year in a row the two schools will play at Lubbers Stadium in the regular season. GVSU went 2-0 against its biggest rival. On Oct. 14, 2023, GVSU beat then No. 1 Ferris State 49-28, then won the rematch in the first round of the NCAA playoffs 21-14 on No. 18.
