How To Watch Monarch High School Football Vs. Peachtree Ridge

Monarch Knights football will host the Peachtree Ridge Lions on Thursday, August 22, in their first non-region match up of the high school football season. The Knights, from Coconut Creek, Florida, made it to their state championship semifinals last season before losing, and finished last season 11-3.

Monarch wasn't ranked by High School Football America 300 in the preseason, but ended up at No. 125 the nation by HSFA to end 2023.

Peachtree Ridge (GA) has already played one game this season, losing to Roswell (GA) last Saturday, 21-6. Although Peachtree Ridge is not ranked nationally, they are No. 57-ranked team in Georgia, according to MaxPreps.

But the Lions will have tough competition against Monarch, who has several national recruits on the roster, including edge rusher Romando Johnson, who has committed to West Virginia.

Monarch vs. Peachtree Ridge kicks off at 4:00pm ET on Thursday, August 22.
