How To Watch IMG Academy Football Vs. Corner Canyon Football

IMG Academy football will play in one of the biggest high school football matchups in the nation this week when they take on Corner Canyon football.

IMG Academy football will have as stout test right out of the gate when they take on Corner Canyon football, out of Utah, on Thursday, August 22. 

IMG has fashioned itself as one of the most elite football programs in the country over the last ten years, and with a treasure trove of top prospects, it looks like it will continue to do so. Currently, High School Football America ranks IMG Academy as No. 4 in the nation.

IMG finished last season unbeaten, going 10-0. They also have three recruits in 247's top 100, including Donovan Olugbode (WR), Nathaniel Owusu Boateng (LB), and Gavin Nix (LB), who has committed to Miami. 

All that is to say it could be difficult for Corner Canyon to pick up a win against IMG -- but it's not improbable. The Chargers already have a win on their resume this season, defeating American Fork (UT) 70-42 last week. Corner Canyon currently sits at No. 35 in the HSFA 300, and finished last season 13-1. 

The Chargers boast an incredible potent offense. Last week, quarterback Helamen Casuga threw for six touchdowns, passing for 482 yards -- 125 of those yards were received by 247's No. 30 recruit Jerome Myles.

IMG Academy vs. Corner Canyon kicks off at 9:00pm ET on Thursday, August 22.
