Division 2 college football preseason rankings are out from d2football.com. Harding is the No. 1 overall, here's the rest of the top 25.

Division 2 football is only days away and there is a veritable cornucopia of teams to watch on FloFootball, especially in D2. Herein we have d2Football.com's preseason top 25 rankings, which diverge from the AFCA Coaches Poll in interesting ways. 

In both polls, the top three teams are locked in with Harding, Central Missouri and Ferris State the undisputable kings of the hill. 

After that, d2Football.com has Pittsburg State and GVSU rounding out the top five, while AFCA has GVSU and Colorado School of Mines at No. 4 and No. 5. 

Other notable schools include GSC teams Valdosta State at No. 6, West Florida at No. 13 and Delta State at No. 14, as well as LSC titan Central Washington at No. 8.

The D2 college football playoffs begin on November 23, 2024.

The 2024 Division II College Football Championship game will be played December 21 at the McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas.
