The roads to the NCAA Division II, Division III and FCS football championship games go through FloFootball and the FloSports network in 2024. 

FloFootball is now home to five new football playing conferences, which gives the FloSports network a total of 10 football conferences on the network.

“There’s just so much content and it really is going to be the home of Division II and Division III football this season,” said FloCollege editor Leanza Pieroni. “We also still have the CAA, which if it's not the best FCS conference in the country, it's one of the best. … I think this year they probably break a record with how many teams they send to the playoffs.” 

With a handful of Coastal Athletic Association programs eyeing long FCS playoff runs along with powerhouse programs at the Division II and Division III levels like Grand Valley State, Ferris State and Susquehanna, there’s never been a more talented group of college football teams streaming live every weekend on FloSports. 

And even FloSports is transforming. 

This season FloSports’ college-focused sites, including FloFootball, will help launch FloCollege later this Fall as a one-stop shop for streaming all the FloSports NCAA conferences. 

“We believe the launch of FloCollege is a watershed moment for college athletics at a time of massive transition,” said FloSports CEO Mark Floreani in a press release. “There is no single platform that is serving today’s athletes and member institutions at the D-II and D-III level with live event streaming, editorial and social like we are planning. We are looking forward to working with our partners to make this a sustainable model for growth in the years ahead that can provide critical funding to many of these smaller institutions.”

The Best In NCAA DII Football Is Streaming On FloFootball

“We just have so much talent across our platforms, specifically in Division II,” Pieroni said. “We have 11 of last year’s 28 NCAA Division II playoff teams on our platform this season.”

2024 Anchor Bone Classic Between GVSU And Ferris State Is On FloFootball

Arguably the best game of the NCAA Division II season, and one that makes that same claim every year, is the Anchor Bone Classic between rivals Grand Valley State University and Ferris State. The Michigan schools and GLIAC powerhouses are two of the most dominant Division II programs. 

Ferris State won the 2021 and 2022 Division II National Championships, while GVSU has won four national titles, most of any program, since 2002 and has the highest winning percentage in DII history at nearly 75%.

“The Anchor Bone is the best Division II game all season long,” Pieroni said. “It has the best crowd, and some of the most talented teams.” 

In fact, the entire GLIAC provides some of the best football at the level. 

“The GLIAC really is one of the best conferences in Division II,” Pieroni said. “I get so excited every weekend to watch those games. Every game within that conference is awesome and is really exciting to watch. And they just added another team.”

The new team is the Chicago-based Roosevelt University Lakers.

The Biggest Game In Division III Football Is Streaming On FloFootball

Last year the Landmark joined the FloSports network and Susquehanna University Football went 6-0 in conference play and finished 10-1 overall. The River Hawks advanced to the Division III Football Playoffs and narrowly lost in the first round to Grove City College, 21-20. 

But that loss hasn’t stopped the 2024 momentum. The River Hawks are ranked No. 12 in the preseason rankings. 

On Sept. 21, the biggest game of the Division III season could be the rematch between Susquehanna and defending Division III champion SUNY Cortland. The only game that Cortland lost in 2023 was 38-35 thriller to the River Hawks at home. 

Now the champs travel to Selinsgrove, Pa. and Amos Alonzo Stagg Field. 

“They were the only team to beat SUNY Cortland,” Pieroni said of Susquehanna. “They face off again this season. One of the best games you’re going to see in Division III is going to happen on our platform.”

Overall, there are four Division III football conferences streaming on FloFootball and the FloSports app. 

Texas Football Coming To FloFootball

One of the top Division II football conferences in the country, and the best the state of football obsessed Texas, is now streaming on FloFootball. 

The Lone Star Conference, which stretches from Ellensburg, Washington to Kingsville, Texas, joined the FloSports network in 2024. 

The conference includes Division II powerhouses like Central Washington, UT Permian Basin and Angelo State, which are all in the preseason rankings. 

“I am pumped to see the Lone Star Conference,” Peroni said. “It’s one of the largest Division II conferences in the country and there is so much talent.” 

Central Washington was picked to win the league and includes star safety Tanner Volk, who had a historically great season in 2023. He had 13 interceptions and led Division II with 124 tackles. 

Meanwhile, one of the conferences biggest rivalry games is  Angelo State vs. UT-Permian Basin, the defending conference champions.

“It’s a large conference and it spans across Texas, and people in Texas love football," Pieroni said. “I think it’s one that will bring a lot of fans to our site and I’m excited to see what these teams do.”
