William and Mary Football enters the 2024 season inside the Division II Coaches Poll and are armed with a star running back whose 2023 season was cut short by injury. 

Bronson Yoder, the prolific running back who rushed for 1,255 yards in 2022, was averaging 5 yards per carry before he suffered a season-ending injury in the fourth game of the 2023 season.

Given a medical redshirt for 2023, Yoder returns for his fifth season ready to help the Tribe return to the top of the CAA standings and the FCS playoffs. 

And that journey starts on Aug. 29 against the Virginia Military Institute, or VMI, at 7 p.m. EST.
