Red Bank Catholic will head to Middletown to take on the No. 2 high school football team in Delaware, according to MaxPreps. The game will be an early-season non-region test for both programs.

Red Bank, who ranks No. 6 in New Jersey, according to MaxPreps, went 11-1 last season, only losing to the elite Bergen Catholic football team. Red Bank has also won 11 games heading into this season.

Middletown went 8-4 a season ago.

Middletown will host Red Bank Catholic on Friday, August 29, with the game kicking off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
