Good Counsel football from Olney, Maryland, will face off against the Columbus Explorers from Miami, Florida, in an exciting non-region high school football matchup.

The game, which is one of the biggest in the nation this week, is set to kick off at Christopher Columbus High School. It promises to be a highly competitive contest between two nationally-ranked teams. 

Good Counsel, who is currently ranked No. 16 by High School Football America, has yet to play a game this season, but went 10-1 a season ago.

Columbus is ranked No. 40 by HSFA. The Explorers won their first game against Southridge (FL) last week, by a score of 17-14.

Good Counsel vs. Columbus kicks off at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday, August 30.
