The opening week of the Division III football season featured three Top 25 matchups and a handful of notable upsets. The season kicked off with a dominating win for No. 6 Wisconsin-La Crosse on Thursday. 

Meanwhile, Friday featured three games which were pretty easy victories for Randolph-Macon, Aurora, and Susquehanna.

Saturday kicked off with No. 17 Wisconsin-River Falls upsetting No. 7 Alma. No. 8 John Hopkins survived in a matchup against  No. 20 Ithaca, and No. 9 Wheaton fell to unranked Wisconsin-Oshkosh. 

No. 3 Wisconsin-Whitewater dominated No. 19 John Carroll and No. 13 Trinity got upset by Texas Lutheran. 

While there were plenty of blowouts by top 25 teams to kick off the season, there were plenty that definitely will shake up the rankings next week. Here are the scores from Week 2
