Lenoir-Rhyne Football Shines On Both Sides Of The Ball In Win | Recap

No. 13 Lenoir-Rhyne Football improves to 2-0 as they defeat RV Tiffin, shining both on offense and defense.

Lenoir-Rhyne Football handled Tiffin in the first ever matchup between the two teams.
In another very complete performance, Lenoir-Rhyne took care of business on both sides of the ball with an incredibly efficient and clean offense that was aided by four turnovers, two fumbles and two interceptions, forced by the defense.
Tiffin's defense did perform as expected, holding Lenoir-Rhyne to under 100 rushing yards, but ultimately spent a lot of time on the field.
Unfortunately their offense was unable to get going, something that has become a trend this early season, as they found zero rhythm and only put 17 points on the board. 

Lenoir-Rhyne now improves to 2-0 and will head on the road to Mars Hill for their first road game and first conference game of the season. Tiffin falls to 1-1 and will host Northwood in their first G-MAC game next weekend.

Bears dominate in complete performance as they beat the Tiffin Dragons comfortably.

Tiffin is unable to do anything offensively as they give the ball back to Lenoir-Rhyne who looks to burn clock and cement their victory.

The Bears lead is back to 11 as they cap a nearly five minute drive with a 32 yard field goal.

Tiffin Defense Gives The Ball Back To Offense

The Tiffin defense makes yet another stop but once again the offense is unable to produce.

Lenoir-Rhyne has the ball as the clock expires in the third quarter looking to bury Tiffin with 15 minutes to go.

Lenoir-Rhyne Comes Up Huge

A huge sack by JT Black and Na'Shawn Biggs forces Tiffin to punt, giving Lenoir-Rhyne a chance to further extend their lead.

The Bears quickly double their lead to 35-17 as Alex Boyd runs it in from a yard out.

The Bears force and recover another fumble as they now look to extend the lead just as it looked like the Dragons were rolling and about to make it a one score game.

The Bears' offense is unable to really do anything as Tiffin takes over the ball and looks to cut the score difference to a single score.

The dragons quickly cut the lead down to 11 as Alex Johnson connects with Joey Zalewski for 18 yards.

Aiden Hellmann reels it in for another Bears touchdown as they make the lead 28-10.

Long Tiffin Drive Puts Some Points On The Board

The dragons are able to find some rhythm as they cut the lead to 11, putting 3 points on the board with a 28 yard field goal.

After a few quick scores by Lenoir-Rhyne, the Tiffin defense holds them and turns to their offense to get back on track.

A quick drive between the legs of Turner-Knox and Ferguson's 23 yard pass to Dominique Marshall puts the Bears up by seven.

Despite some inconsistencies with their defense last week, Lenoir-Rhyne finished the game with several key defensive plays. They pick up right where they left off as Jaelin Willis quickly picks off Alex Johnson on Tiffin's opening drive.
