2024 FCS Football Scores In Week 3: Villanova Survives Towson
Here are the FCS football scores in Week 3, including No. 4 Villanova surviving Towson in CAA play.
No. 4 Villanova survived a scare from Towson, 14-13, in Coastal Athletic Association play in Week 3 as the Wildcats avoided being another upset victim for Towson.
Last season, the Tigers made a habit of upsetting ranked teams in CAA play but the Wildcats allowed just three points in the second half to stay undefeated.
Richmond dominated Charleston Southern 38-0, bouncing back from a slow start to even their record at 1-2. The Spiders' defense pitched a shutout, while the offense scored in every quarter.

Delaware improved to 2-0 with a 42-13 win over NC A&T. The Blue Hens controlled the game from start to finish, with 14 points in the third quarter cementing their victory.
William & Mary outlasted Wofford 28-21, thanks to a consistent offense that put up seven points in every quarter. The Tribe moved to 2-1, showing resilience on the road.
Monmouth secured its first win of the season, defeating Maine 51-22. After trailing early, Monmouth used a 14-point third quarter to pull away.
New Hampshire routed Stonehill 45-6, while Elon fell 24-17 to Western Carolina, continuing its slow start at 1-2.
