No. 4 Villanova narrowly escaped against Towson while No. 8 Southern Illinois survived by one score against No. 14 Incarnate World. No. 5 Idaho dominated No. 15 UAlbany as did No. 11 Sacramento State against No. 34 Nicholls. No. 12 UC Davis squeaked by Southern Utah and No. 16 Chattanooga fell to No. 24 Mercer.

The weekend featured numerous exciting matchups, teams showing a lot of potential, and some clearly dominating performances. It'll be interesting to see how much the poll gets shaken up this week as teams like No. 2 North Dakota State barely scraped by against East Tennessee State. 

Looking to Week 4, it'll be interesting to see if teams will continue to showcase their skill and make their case to be the FCS champions.
