With Week 4 around the corner and with there being some surprises and close games last week, the college football season is starting to ramp up.

Things will not stop there, and the stakes will only increase from here with the competition getting stiffer each week.

There will be four ranked Division II football matches that will be streamed here on FloFootball.

Here is a preview of each game and why it can be important to watch.

1. Grand Valley State (3-0) Vs. West Florida (1-1)

Day/Time: Saturday, September 28 at 3:00 p.m. ET

This is in the running for being the most intriguing game of the week with the No. 2 ranked team in the country, Grand Valley State, set to take on West Florida, who is ranked 20 and 21 in the D2football.com and AFCA coaches polls.

GVSU is coming off a seven point win against Wisconsin-La Crosse after getting a rushing touchdown from running backs Khalil Eichelberger and Kenneth Jones.

West Florida, on the other hand, had a crushing two-point loss to West Alabama at home in overtime, despite a 73-yard touchdown pass to WR Ja’Corey Scott from QB Marcus Stokes.

The loss brought the team down quite a bit in the rankings, but we will find out on Saturday if they can bounce back against the mighty GVSU Lakers.

2.  Ferris State (2-1) Vs. AIC (1-2)

Day/Time: Saturday, September 28 at 12:00 p.m. ET

After losing their first game against Pittsburg State, Ferris State racked up two dominating wins in the last two weeks. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss had himself a game last week, throwing and running for a touchdown.

This is a big test for AIC, as they are coming the opposite of Ferris State, dropping their last two, and have struggled to stop their opponents.

3. Tusculum (0-2) Vs. Lenoir-Rhyne (3-0)

Day/Time: Saturday, September 28 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Tusculum is looking for their first win, and what better opponent to get the opportunity against than Lenoir-Rhyne, who is one of the early unbeaten teams in D2.

The offense has been clicking on all the cylinders for the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, averaging 33 points per game, with the defense not looking the greatest by any means for Tusculum; however, this could turn into a good game if the Pioneers are taken lightly.

4. Delta State (3-1) Vs. Erskine (1-3)

Day/Time: Saturday, September 28 at 4:00 p.m. ET

Delta State peaked into the top 25 according to the AFCA Coaches Poll after they would bounce back with a tight win against Fort Valley State after dropping the game prior to Wingate.

Erskine will look to get back on track this week after being outscored by a total of 93 points in their last two games.

One player that the Flying Fleet will have to account for is the Statesmen dual-threat quarterback Cole Kirk.
