In a commanding performance, Grand Valley State University defeated West Florida 31-7.

After a slow start, and a 7-7 score at halftime, the Lakers dominated the second half, scoring 17 points in the third quarter.

Khalil Eichelberger had a 50-yard touchdown run, while quarterback Avery Moore contributed two more touchdowns.

GVSU's defense was relentless, recording eight sacks and two interceptions. The Argos defense was also stout, and held GVSU on numerous drives, but ultimately fell short.

Kyle Nott's incredible one-handed catch stole the show. This win wraps up GVSU's non-conference schedule, as they now turn their focus to GLIAC play. West Florida will turn their sights to Mississippi College next week.
