GLIAC Football Week 6 Schedule: GVSU Travels To Davenport

Grand Valley State football, currently undefeated and ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division II football, will begin GLIAC conference play this week with a trip to Caledonia, Michigan, to play the Davenport Panthers who has had an immensely successful start to the season with their only blemish so far being a one point loss to No.12 Central Missouri. 

Meanwhile Michigan Tech will host Wayne State, Saginaw Valley State will be on the road against Northern Michigan, and No. 5 Ferris State looks to take down Roosevelt to kick off their 2024 conference seasons.

As the conference season kicks off, GVSU is the only undefeated team, sitting at 4-0. Ferris State, Michigan Tech, Saginaw Valley State, and Davenport all sit at 3-1. Roosevelt, Northern Michigan, and Roosevelt are all winless and hunting for their first win this week, all of them facing a 3-1 opponent.

When Is The Anchor Bone Classic

Division II football fans are now less than a month away from one of the biggest rivalry games in the sport. The Lakers will host Ferris State at 3 p.m. ETS on Oct. 26. The game is streaming on FloFootball and the FloSports app.
