This week's rankings' show that Harding football continues to steamroll past competition, defeating Southwestern Oklahoma in a blowout, and show why they are by far the best team in the NCAA Division II AFCA Coaches poll.

Grand Valley State is still keeping pace with the top team in the division with a win over Davenport, where they were in control for the majority of the game. Valdosta State football didn't skip a beat in their first game back after the aftermath of Hurricane Helene with a big win against Shorter, as the top three teams all year remain undefeated, all being 5-0.

Ferris State has been nearly unstoppable since the first week, now totaling their week streak to four. Kutztown and Western Colorado are the newest teams in the top five after getting dominant wins this past Saturday.

The biggest droppers are Colorado School of Mines, Minnesota State, and Lenoir-Rhyne after they suffered close losses, with Colorado School of Mines and Minnesota State dropping eight spots each and Lenoir-Rhyne dropping 14 spots, all three dropping out of the top ten.

Frostburg State is the new team in at No. 24, and Central Missouri is the new and only team out of the rankings.
