NCAA Division III Football Ranking For Week 7: The Competition Is Rising

With things heating up in Division III football, there are some matchups to watch out for, as these are the AFCA Coaches poll rankings for Week 7.

Another week down in Division III football, and the top seven teams are undefeated, and there are 14 teams of the total 25 that have yet to take a loss. 

There are a ton of ranked matchups this week that could really shake up a few things after this week concludes.

The Wisconsin River Falls, who are now in the top five with a compelling win against Wisconsin-Eau Claire, allowing them to go up a spot from No. 6 to No. 5, will have a tougher task this week when they play No. 11 Wisconsin-Platteville. Other ranked games include Hardin-Simmons vs. Mary Hardin-Baylor football, Grove City vs. Carnegie Mellon, and Wisconsin-La Crosse vs. Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

North Central (Ill), Cortland (N.Y.), and Mount Union (Ohio) are all still at the top of the mountain with large wins and don't show any signs of letting up.

Coe (Iowa) breaks into the rankings at No. 24, while Wheaton (Ill) drops out of the rankings.
