How To Watch New Hampshire Vs. Elon Football 2024
After a recent winning streak came to an end, New Hampshire heads back on the road for a CAA game against Elon. Here’s what to know.
Despite a few standout offensive performances last weekend, the University of New Hampshire Wildcats came up short in the final non-conference game of their season, falling to Harvard in their first meeting since 1939.
The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for UNH, which now will close its season with seven consecutive Coastal Athletic Association games.
The Wildcats finished in the middle of the CAA pack last year at 4-4, but they started off conference play this season with a win over newcomer Bryant on Sept. 21 (38-17).
The next step toward regaining the conference title they shared in 2022 will be for the Wildcats (3-2, 1-0) to go on the road and handle Elon (1-4, 0-1).
The two will meet at Elon’s Rhodes Stadium in Elon, North Carolina, on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET, live on FloFootball.

In the 28-23 road loss to Harvard last Saturday, New Hampshire quarterback Seth Morgan threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns, which included completing his first 17 passes on the way to a season-best 34-for-47 performance.
Graduate receiver Logan Tomlinson was his top target, catching a career-high 10 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, while junior kicker Nick Mazzie booted a career-best 52-yard field goal, the longest by a UNH kicker since 2009. Mazzie’s 3-for-3 effort earned him CAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
In the end, though, Harvard escaped with the win and stopped the Wildcats’ momentum with the heart of conference play on the horizon. It was the eighth meeting between the two schools and the first since 1939. The original decade-long series began in 1929, with Harvard now winning all eight contests.
Despite the loss, New Hampshire maintained a spot in the FCS Coaches Poll, falling from No. 16 to No. 22.
Five CAA teams are ranked in the latest poll – Villanova (No. 5), Richmond (No. 17), William & Mary (No. 18), Rhode Island (No. 21) and New Hampshire, with Stony Brook and Monmouth also receiving votes.
Elon has suffered three consecutive losses, all at home, including a 27-17 loss to Richmond on Sept. 28 to kick off CAA play.
After a week off, the Phoenix will now open their home to the Wildcats for the first of seven more CAA games.
Last year, Elon was 6-2 in conference games and 6-5 overall.
