FCS Football Rankings For Week 8: Find Out Where Your Team Landed
Now with the Week 8 AFCA coaches poll out, it is time to see how your team did and gain a preview to some of the most anticipated games of the week.
Results around the FCS this past week didn't send much fireworks or shockers that affected the latest AFCA coaches poll too much. The top seven teams remain in tact after they all either took home the win or had a bye week, such as Villanova football, and will be in action against Maine on Oct. 19.
Out of the top teams, Montana State had the most eye-opening win after gaining a statement win by 31 points against Idaho. With the loss by the Vandals they drop outside of the top 10 and go to No.14

The most eye-catching matchup for next week out of the teams will be the showdown between South Dakota State and North Dakota State in a game for the No. 1 spot.
Another ranked matchup to look out for is No. 17 Rhode Island vs. No. 19 New Hampshire, who both came away with narrow wins against quality opponents to both move up slightly in the new rankings. The game will be streamed live on FloFootball and the FloSports app.
Jackson State and Dartmouth are the two news teams to make their way in the rankings after an overtime win against Yale for the Big Green, and the Tigers get in after an bye week as they get ready to face fellow HBCU rivals in Florida A&M.
Sacramento State and Weber State are two teams dropping out this week, thanks to losses to unranked teams: Eastern WA and Northern CO.
