Dayton and Butler football are going to be two teams coming in with similar mindsets after gaining different results in their games from last week.

The Bulldogs are coming off their first loss of the season against Drake, who nows sits at the top of the conference standings and dropped Butler all the way to six, meanwhile the Flyers are undefeated at in their two conference games after edging out Davidson in a 16-14 defensive struggle.

This 1 p.m. ET game will take place at Bud and Jackie Sellick Bowl Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana and will stream live on FloFootball and the FloSports app.

Even though, both teams only have one loss each they have still found themselves out of the top 25 so maybe a big win could help either side perform better in the FCS AFCA coaches poll.

Last time Butler made an appearance on FloFootball we saw them take the massive win against Morehead State 40-6 in the PFL opener. However, this will be the first time, Dayton football will be streamed on FloFootball.

Out of the two teams, Dayton has been the most improved after having overall record of 4-7 with six of those losses coming to conference opponents and now with another win they can already eclipse last year's total with five games left after Saturday.

These teams will be in different situations moving forward after this game with the Flyers having three of their last five games at home and for the Butler Bulldogs they only will have two more home games after this one for the remainder of conference play.

Dayton vs. Butler Football Series History 

The Dayton Flyers own the lead over Butler in head-to-head matchups 12-7 and had seven game winning streak from 2014-2021. However, there has been ground covered by the Bulldogs in the last couple years with back-to-back wins over the last two seasons. Including a road victory in Dayton for the first time in a decade.
