No. 5 Villanova Football has been dominant all season, sitting at 5-1 and atop the CAA standings. This week they go on the road to take on the Maine Black Bears who sit at 1-2 in conference and are looking for another win. 

In a week where a lot of the top teams in the CAA are competing against each other, Villanova has the opportunity to take care of business and cement themselves atop the standings in the early conference season.

If the Black Bears want to pull of the upsets, a hot start will be crucial. Two weeks ago at Stony Brook, Villanova came out sluggish, trailing throughout the first half before burying Stony Brook in the second. If the Black Bears fall behind early, they will struggle and Villanova, a strong second half team will dominate.
