NCAA Division III Week 9 Football Rankings: Few Changes As Top Teams Roll
The Division III rankings pretty much stay the same, with no team dropping out of the rankings but still resulting in a slight shift in the top 25 order.
In a week full of big games and a series of unexpected events all around the sport, Division III football put a halt on any major shockers and left no room for any changes in the rankings.
Even with it not being much change at all, there are still some things to watch out for this week.

11 Unbeaten Teams Remain In Power Heavy Division III
- Top teams continue to stay at the top of the list - North Central (ill), Cortland (N.Y.), Mount Union (Ohio), and St. John's (Minn.) are still in the top four teams for another week with decisive wins over the opponents. Hardin-Simmons football also wins their first game as a top-five team, narrowly defeating McMurry by five points.
- How did the ranked games go last week? - UW-Platteville lost its first game of the season against now No. 14 UW-Oshkosh in a close game that ended in a touchdown difference. This loss caused them to drop to No. 11 from No. 6, but the biggest news of the week probably came from No. 7 Grove City, who were conquered by unranked Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) and got the worst of the reflection of this week's rankings, dropping down 12 spots.
- The two biggest games of the week - Its another week that will have a big game occurring in Wisconsin with UW-River Falls traveling to play No. 25 UW-La Crosse on the road after the thrilling overtime win against UW-Stout. The other ranked matchup is between No. 12 Wartburg and No. 21 Coe, who both are coming off statement wins.
