The Bulldogs crushed No. 1-ranked Grand Valley State 34-7 in one of the most shocking results of the entire 2024 season.

The Lakers couldn't muster much offense and threw two interceptions and Trinidad Chambliss played like one of the best playmakers in the country, rushing for 122 yards and three touchdowns and adding 114 yards passing. 

No. 2 Valdosta State (7-0) was idle this week and could move to No. 1 in the Coaches Rankings on Oct. 28, but the Bulldogs (7-1) might be poised to leap-frog them after Saturday's game in Michigan.
