No. 9 Richmond Football needed a game-winning field goal to reach 8-2 on the season remain in the driver's seat for the CAA Championship with just two weeks left in the season.

Richmond beat Campbell 27-24 and improved to 6-0 in the CAA.

The race for the CAA title has become chaotic. Rhode Island lost its first CAA game of the season to Delaware, 24-21, and now there are four teams in the conference entering Week 12 with 5-1 records and they're all looking up at Richmond, who holds just a game lead.

Rhode Island, Delaware, Stony Brook and Villanova are all in the race. However, Delaware is ineligible for the FCS postseason.
