Ferris State football aims for its third NCAA Division II National Championship in four years, but first, the Bulldogs must defeat Slippery Rock in today’s D2 Playoff Semifinals.

The Bulldogs have dominated the postseason, earning a first-round bye and defeating Central Oklahoma 78-17 in the second round. Last week, they defeated defending champion Harding 41-7. Ferris State is undefeated at home this season with an 8-0 record in Big Rapids.

Slippery Rock, having played one more game than Ferris, is also in strong form. After a 14-7 win over New Haven, they edged Kutztown 25-24 in overtime and beat California (Pa.) 31-13 to reach their first semifinal since 2019.

The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 14.
