How Many D2 National Championships Has Valdosta State Football Won?
With the national championship this week, find out how many times Valdosta State has reigned supreme as Division II champions.
Valdosta State football has made it to the big dance again, and it will be its third matchup against Ferris State football in six years for a chance to become national champions.
The game will take place in McKinney, Texas, on Dec. 21 at 2:00 p.m. EST, and both teams will look to make history.
One thing the Blazers have done in this impressive season is dominate their opponents all year long, leading to an undefeated record thus far.
However, to finish the job, they must win this Saturday to complete the perfect season. It wouldn't be the first time that the team has earned that feat, as Valdosta State won its last national title in 2018 without losing a game.

The Valdosta State Blazers have won four Division II national championships: 2004, 2007, 2012, and 2018. On Dec. 21, they hope to secure their fifth in program history.
