What Ferris State (13-1) has done since opening the 2024 college football season with a loss has been unforgettable, but the job isn’t quite done yet.

Since losing to Pittsburg State on Aug. 31, the Bulldogs have rattled off 13 consecutive wins, claimed the 2024 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football title, advanced to the NCAA Division II Playoffs for a record 10th consecutive year and now will play for a third national title in four seasons.

During the ongoing winning streak, FSU has outscored its opponents 623-164, and the Bulldogs will look to continue that domination against undefeated Valdosta State (13-0) on Saturday.

The two schools will battle for the national championship for the third time since 2018, with the teams each winning one of the previous two games.

As Ferris State continues to prepare for its showdown with the Blazers at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas, on Saturday at 2 p.m. Eastern, live on ESPN2, let’s look back at how the Bulldogs got here.
