For the second year in a row, the Bulldogs will play Pittsburgh State to open the season on Aug. 28 as part of a challenging non-conference schedule.

How Many Football National Championships Has Ferris State Won?

The Ferris State Bulldogs have won three football national championships – in 2021, 2022, and 2024.

They also reached the title game in 2018 but fell to Valdosta State.

The Bulldogs will play the Lakers on Oct. 25 at Taggart Field in Big Rapids at 1 p.m. Ferris State won last season's match-up in dominant fashion before going on to win their third national championship title.
