Chris Sutton Was Out There Playing Madden On Saturday
Texarkana Texas running back Chris Sutton pulled out all of his best moves vs. Highland Park on Saturday.
Texarkana Texas High had to play on the road against the defending state champions on Saturday, but the Tigers never looked overwhelmed by the big stage.
The visitors fell behind on Highland Park’s second play from scrimmage and trailed 35-14 at the half of their UIL Class 5A, Division I bi-district game at the Ford Center in Frisco. However, Texas High's Tevailance Hunt and Chris Sutton kept swinging.
The result — a 56-49 loss — may not have been the result Sutton hoped for, but Texas High's running back turned real life football into a game of Madden along the way.
First, Tigers coach Gerry Stanford dialed up the old tried and true HB Angle:
Everyone knows that this is the most unstoppable play in the game.
Then, Sutton slams on the breaks so hard it defies physics:
Kind of like this…
…but better.
Later, Sutton hits the defender with a spin move so filthy that your habitually angry friend would’ve shattered his controller:
Which, you know, looked a lot like this…
…only better.
