Power 5 Schools Taking Their Show On The Road
Power 5 Schools Taking Their Show On The Road
Check out which Power 5 schools will go on the road to take on Group of 5 schools.
Most weekends of the college football season a Power 5 school will play a Group of 5 school, but it’s rare to see them go on the road to do it.
Most times, it’s the Group of 5 schools biggest game on the schedule and has potential upset written all over it. So, today we take a look at the P5 programs brave enough to take their show on the road.

Power 5 Conference Breakdown
ACC: 9
Big Ten: 2
Big 12: 3
Pac-12: 6
SEC: 1
These numbers aren't necessarily indicative of anything in particular, but they do provide some interesting conversational points. It's interesting to see that ACC and Pac-12 schools are apparently more willing to go on the road to play non-conference games against Group of Fives.
For the most part, these games are no walk in the park. Four of the six teams the Pac-12 will play made a bowl game last year.
And, while just three of the nine teams the ACC will play went bowling, UCF went 13-0, Toledo won 11 games, and Marshall won its bowl game.
After Sept. 29, we’ll circle back and see how the Power 5 schools fared on their road trips.
