The South Atlantic Conference announced its Football Players of the Week for games played during the ninth week of the 2022 season.  Barton running back Jordan Terrell was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Lenoir-Rhyne linebacker Devin Hibbitt was named the Defensive Player of the Week, and Wingate kicker Ethan Evans picked up Special Teams Player of the Week honors. 

Terrell, a sophomore from Ramseur, N.C., ran for a career-high 302 yards on 34 carries, scoring four touchdowns in the Bulldogs 38-21 win over Catawba. He averaged 8.9 yards per carry, including a game-long 68-yard scramble. 

Hibbitt, a sophomore from Bedford, Ohio, had a career-high 13 tackles, including 10 solo tackles in the No. 22 Bears 24-21 loss to Wingate. He also had two interceptions that he returned for a total of 25 yards.

Evans, a senior from Mt. Airy, N.C., led the Bulldogs to a 24-21 win over No. 22 Lenoir-Rhyne. He had eight punts for 363 yards, with five inside the 20-yard line, four fair catches, and a touchback. He also connected on a 35-yard field goal and was three-for-three on extra points, scoring six points for Wingate.
