Bowers To White Lifts Southlake Carroll To State Quarterfinals

On fourth-and-goal, Southlake Carroll quarterback Will Bowers rolled to his right, stopped, and threw back to wide receiver Carson White, who was running toward the opposite pylon in the end zone.

The throw was nearly perfect. The catch was spectacular. And the 3-yard touchdown gave the Dragons the go-ahead score over Arlington with less than 10 minutes remaining in their 28-24 playoff win on Saturday.

Carroll next heads to Waco, Texas, for a quarterfinal date with undefeated Waco Midway.
