After a one-year absence, the University of New Hampshire Wildcats are back in the NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs and hoping their 18th appearance will be the lucky one.

Rhode Island and Bryant, in state foes, have met each of the last three season, but this is the first time they will be doing so in the same conference. Bryant's first season in the CAA comes to a close as they hunt for not only their first ever defeat of Rhode Island, but their first ever CAA win.

This game calls for a similar situation to the UAlbany and Rhode Island matchup, with one team well out of the playoffs and the other looking to improve its position.

Villanova currently sits tied for second place in the Coastal Athletic Association. They are 7-2 on the season and 4-1 in conference play. This week they host a struggling NC A&T team that sits at 1-8 on the season and 0-5 in the CAA. Villanova currently sits at 11th in the AFCA Coaches Poll, right behind conference foes Rhode Island and Richmond who are the lone undefeated teams in the conference.

The Coastal Athletic Association season is slowly coming to a close with Rhode Island and Richmond atop the standings, undefeated in conference play. Just behind the pair are the one loss teams,  Stony Brook, Delaware, and Villanova.

The top six teams in the FCS rankings should remain unmoved after North Dakota State, Montana State, South Dakota State and UC Davis all had wins in Week 10 of the college football season.

Richmond football, fresh off a 28-9 thumping of Delaware, will head to Rhode Island for another CAA conference matchup, this time against the Bryant Bulldogs.

A few days after officially becoming the head coach of the Hampton football team, Trent Boykin will lead the Pirates against North Carolina A&T at 1 p.m. today in Greensboro.

Bryant University is new to the Coastal Athletic Association Football scene this year, and the Bulldogs still are searching for their first conference win.

Four undefeated teams in conference play: Delaware, Richmond, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire clash in Week 3 of CAA conference play as only two can come out on top. No. 19 New Hampshire hosts No. 17 Rhode Island in the top 25 CAA matchup of the day. Then 6-0 Delaware goes on the road for a huge test against No. 15 Richmond, hunting for a win that would have them breaking the Top 25.

Delaware, Richmond, Villanova, Rhode Island, and UNH all remain undefeated in conference play through the first two weeks of CAA football play in 2024. Four of them: Villanova, Richmond, Rhode Island, and UNH all sit in the top 25 of the rankings, with Villanova comfortably dominating as No. 5.
