Bone Marrow Donor Mike London Tells His Powerful Personal Story

For thousands of patients with life-threatening diseases, such as leukemia and lymphoma, a marrow transplant from an unrelated donor is their best or only hope for a cure.
Mike London knows all too well how real that situation can become for patients and parents, alike.
In 2003, London served as the donor for his daughter Ticynn, who was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia, a genetic disease that occurs in 1 of 350,000 births.

He was generous enough to reflect on this powerful story of an unimaginably trying time during our visit to William & Mary this summer.
