Top Eight Spots In The HSFA 100 Unchanged
For the second week in a row, there are major changes inside the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. St. John Bosco and Mater Dei remain No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, with big matchups coming this weekend.
For the second week in a row, there are major changes inside the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
Unlike last week, when St. John Bosco (California) eased by Mater Dei (California) at the top of the rankings, this week’s changes are from No. 9 on down.
After 49 head-to-head matchups inside the Top 300 this past weekend, only 25 teams hold their spots from the previous week.
St. John Bosco and Mater Dei remain No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, with big matchups coming this weekend.
Bosco will play No. 36 St. Frances Academy of Maryland. The Panthers are 0-3, but all three losses have come against high-quality opponents – No. 5 Buford (Georgia), No. 9 Chaminade-Madonna (Florida) and No. 35 East St. Louis (Illinois).
Mater Dei, which is coming off a dominating 63-0 win over No. 112 Creekside (Georgia), will play No. 46 Kahuku.

No. 3 Bishop Gorman (Nevada) continues to inch closer to the two Southern California-powers.
Friday night, the Gaels beat Miami Central 39-35, dropping the Rockets from No. 9 to No. 10 in the latest rankings.
Reigning Florida Class 1S champ Chaminade-Madonna continues to move up.
The Lions go from No. 10 to No. 9 after their 41-4 win over two-time defending 3S champ Cardinal Gibbons. The loss dropped Gibbons from No. 23 to No. 52.
Defending Georgia 6A champ takes a big tumble from No. 17 to No. 48 after dropping a 30-27 decision to North Carolina’s Butler, which began the year in our preseason Top 300 at No. 185.
After losing its opener, Butler dropped-out of the HSFA 300. This week, the Bulldogs soar back in at No. 110.
